Just as the solo can be the high point in a symphony, solo legal practitioners can be key players on Long Island. Abeshouse, who goes solo in Uniondale, focuses on business litigation and alternative dispute resolution. His clients include entrepreneurs, professionals and small businesspeople seeking help in litigation, arbitration or mediation. He is also an arbitrator on the panel of the American Arbitration Association and several other forums; in this capacity, he acts as a de facto private judge, hearing evidence and rendering awards that are enforceable in court.

We've omitted the other four "Ones to Watch" from this posting as they're not ART members.
